President Donald Trump's message for the celebration of Mother's Day was revealing, emotional, but lacked an important mention.

Trump spoke in depth about his mother, Mary MacLeord, who passed away in 2000, PEOPLE says. However, Trump forgot to congratulate his current wife and mother of his youngest son Barron Trump, Melania Trump.

“My dear American compatriots, this Sunday is one of the most important days of the year: Mother's Day. From the first days of our Republic, the American strength has come from the love, courage and devotion of our mothers,”the president began, saying in a video message that he published on social networks.

Later, Trump expressed that his mother had been an excellent person. In addition, the country's prime minister said that his mother was from Scotland and had known her father when she was very young. The couple was married for many years, Trump said. “I learned so much from my mother. She was simply amazing. Loving, loving, very intelligent, she was tough if she had to be, but she was basically a good person, she said.

PEOPLE reported that Trump had flown in the morning to play golf at the Trump National Golf Course in Potomac Falls, Virginia. It was unknown how the day would end. The Los Angeles Times reported that Trump did the same thing last year. The difference was that in his Mother's Day message he addressed his Melania, the country's first lady and the rest of the mothers in his day. This year, Trump did not include Melania in his messages by that date.

For her part, Melania only published a concise message for Mother's Day on the official account of the first lady on Twitter. This year, the president was paired with porn star Stormy Daniels and playmate Karen McDougal. Trump has denied both affairs. Much has been speculated about the relationship of the President and Melania.
