Again a foreign model was a victim of violence in Mexico. A 26-year-old woman, identified as Kenny and who provided escort services, was found dead last weekend on a street in the municipality of Ecatepec.
As revealed by a report from El Universal on its online site, the body of the woman of Venezuelan origin showed signs of torture, in addition to having burns on her face, which are presumably generated by acid. The newspaper adds that this becomes the sixth case of murder of foreign models who travel to Mexico and provide accompaniment services.
Friends of the victim have revealed that the model was contacted through her social networks by people who were allegedly interested in hiring her services over the weekend. After not knowing about the whereabouts of her partner, they notified the authorities, without thinking that they themselves had to be the ones to identify Kenny's body after it was found in the State of Mexico.
Authorities presume that the young Venezuelan woman advertised her services on the ZonaDivas.com website, where women offer sexual services. The death of Kenny thus adds to those of other foreign models that were also announced on this website.
In another report by the renowned newspaper, it is revealed how women from different countries in Central and South America come to Mexico victims of false offers to work in modeling or television and end up becoming ladies-in-waiting in order to survive.
