Venezuelan Singer Murdered In Mexico

Singer Fabio Melanitto was assassinated last Wednesday in Mexico City at the age of 32. As reported by his manager, Manolo Torres, in an interview for Multimedios, the Venezuelan artist was on his way to eat something with his girlfriend when a subject intercepted him on the streets of Colonia Narvarte and tried to steal his motorcycle.

Resisting the robbery, the rogue pointed his gun at the former member of the UFF group and shot him several times.

"The Attorney General of Mexico City is looking for the person responsible for the death of a man of Venezuelan nationality, who was attacked with bullets today around 17:20 hours," the Mexican authority said in a statement.

"An investigation folder was started for the death of a man of Venezuelan nationality. The victim was traveling with his partner on board a motorcycle, when a person approached and fled, "said the investigation folder, as reported by CNN in Spanish.

Melanitto married actress Ivonne Montero in 2011 and divorced two years later.

Fabio published a last message on his Twitter account on August 6, in which he invited his fans to a concert in Puebla.
