A mother of two boys and bodybuilding competitor allegedly died of a protein overdose, Australia's Perth Now news portal reported.

A Meegan Hefford, barely 25 years old and originally from Mandurah, Australia, he discovered he had disorders of the urea cycle or inherited abnormality of the urea cycle. The mother told the Australian portal that she told her daughter to take the workout calmly, not to exercise as much. "I said to her, 'I think you're doing too much in the gym, calm down a bit, turn down the intensity," White said.

Hefford, who was the mother of a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, was found dead in her apartment on June 19. She was immediately rushed to a hospital, reports Perth Now. However, doctors took two days to diagnose her urea cycle disorder. At that time, the ammonia levels in her body were high and she had water in her brain. The next day they declared her brain dead, the newspaper said.
