After marrying Patricio Peña in 2014, Mariana Ochoa publicly confessed last year that she was going through a major marriage crisis and was no longer sharing the same roof with her still husband. Now, it is confirmed that the member of OV7 is already carrying out the corresponding divorce proceedings to terminate this union.

"Mariana Ochoa is in the process of divorce," Ary Boroboy, her friend and partner in the group confirmed to the media. "She has been separated for 8 months and is better than ever."

Despite this separation, the singer had the intention of saving their marriage and mentioned that "all couples had ups and downs" as usual in any romantic relationship. She even made it clear that what was important was the well-being of her entire family.

"Working to make things go well, which is the most important thing," Ochoa told Mezcal TV in October. "In a marriage you cannot turn around and say 'until never!', On the contrary, I think we are a very beautiful family, there is a lot of love, so making you want to."

The couple share two children together, Valentina and Salvador, aged three and two, respectively. This would be the second divorce for the singer, because she was first married to Christian Esquenazi.

So far, Mariana Ochoa has not spoken about the divorce and continues with the concerts of OV7, 90s Pop Tour; as well as with its website and the costume business, which it has in partnership with its group partner, Erika Zaba.
