Authorities from the states of Wisconsin, Oregon and West Virginia alerted communities to the discovery of candy collected by children this Halloween and that apparently contained needles, razors and even heroin.
One of those reports was released Wednesday by Washington County Police in Hillsboro, Oregon. And he points out that a woman in the Beaverton neighborhood reported by telephone that her 13-year-old daughter had found a chocolate with a knife inside.
Authorities explained that the woman had taken her children to order sweets in the neighborhood and that at night her daughter discovered the sharp object that appeared in a photo in the statement.
"The razor looked like a sharpener," he said to himself. "It is unknown if the wrap was completely sealed before the girl opened it."
