The shocking images of the 7.1-degree earthquake that struck the central part of Mexico on Tuesday afternoon have gone around the world.
Terrifying scenes of landslides, adults and children emerging from the rubble and crying and uncertainty in the streets of Mexico City, Morelos, Puebla, Taxcala, Guerrero and Oaxaca confirmed the tragedy that already kills more than 217 dead.
But among the hundreds of videos that have been circulating incessantly on social networks since the tragedy occurred -at 1:14 pm local time- some stand out for their tenderness and compassion. An example of this is a video that emerged on Twitter from some teachers at a school in Mexico City who, after evacuating the school campus, began to sing with their pupils to try to calm them down.
In the clip you can see the little ones from London kindergarte surrounding their teachers, while they try to distract them by singing. Some children participated in the activity, but others looked nervously at the helicopters that flew over them.
