When Aleks Syntek launched a criticism against reggaeton, he did not think about the consequences that his comments would bring. And although he apologized, representatives of this genre are offended and have spoken about it. First it was Ozuna, who spoke out against the composer, and now it is Farruko who sends a strong message to the interpreter of "Sex, modesty and tears".

"I think you should have a little more respect," Farruko warned the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca), in response to Syntek. “I have no heart or pity to defame and belittle someone else's art; even if it is the baddest. Whether we are artists as painters or craft artists, I am not going to say that your art, even if it is a graphite or a scribble, I despise it; because everyone has their own way of seeing art”.

The singer noted that his music is very generous and has revived the careers of performers from other currents.

“You will never see a reggaetonist speaking badly of pop, speaking ill of salsa, speaking ill of meringue; on the contrary, we are the only genre that can be linked to any type of genre,”he added. "Reggaeton is feeding pop artists, merengue artists, vallenato music artists, who are reinventing themselves with our genre."

And while he knows that the lyrics are strong, he ensures that they only speak about the current problem.
