Shoppers are partying with the new prices they're seeing at Whole Foods, after Amazon bought it, reporting discounts of more than 40 percent, according to some analysts.
According to People, some of the best discounts are found in bananas that, depending on the country of origin, came down from organic kale and small lettuce, before you had to pay a store with high-cost products that led to it being Called as Whole Paycheck (which translated means "all wages").
Amazon acquired the luxury supermarket chain for $ 13.7 billion and became the competition of chains such as Costco Wholesale and Wal-Mart Stores, in the increasingly strong market to offer groceries at a lower price.
Speaking about the acquisition of these supermarkets Jeff Wilke, chief executive of AmazonWorldwide, said: "We will lower prices without compromising Whole Foods Market's commitment to the highest standards."
