As the famous RBD group disintegrated, each of the members dedicated themselves to their own projects. One of them, Christopher Uckermann, has completely distanced himself from the concept of that musical group and even refuses to meet again; Now he confesses that it was not something that filled him at a professional level.

"Actually, I started my career as an actor and, well, with RBD there was a musical question," Uckermann explained to the media. "He did not act to be a singer. Yes I like the music; Maybe it wouldn't have been the genre I'd like to sing, but obviously I enjoyed part of the project, it was kind of interesting at the time.”

He disclosed that he did not have an exclusivity contract, which allowed him to seek opportunities in projects that he liked when RBD disintegrated.

“The truth was I did not have exclusivity [with Televisa]. We had a certain contract when I was in the group, but I never had exclusivity, so I always had freedom, "he explained. "I was working for many years with the company and it gave me Rebelde, and it gave me many interesting projects and later, as an actor, I wanted to follow my path and do interesting things on the outside."

Over time, the former RBD has directed his career towards the part of acting in genres that interest him and although he exploits his taste for music, he does it personally, without the support of a record company.

“Right now I am with my musical question too, but I like to make movies musical. And I'm going to play, but already independently, I produce everything. I like to play, she concluded.
