Golfer Tiger Woods and his ex-girlfriend, skier Lindsey Vonn, are very angry and weigh to sue a website that has released photos in which the athletes appear completely

The images were apparently hacked from a phone by the Olympic champion, who had a nearly three-year relationship with the golfer that ended in 2015.

"It is a despicable and outrageous invasion of privacy for someone to illegally steal and spread private intimate photos," a 32-year-old Vonn representative who now dates a Los Angeles Rams NFL player told People.

“Lindsey will take the necessary and appropriate legal measures to protect your rights and interests. She believes that the individuals responsible for pirating their private photos and the websites that encourage this detestable conduct should be prosecuted by law, she added.

Woods' attorney, Michael Holtz, has also threatened to bring to court the Celeb Jihad website, where controversial images of the couple were released, according to TMZ.

Celeb Jihad is a portal specialized in publicizing photos and videos of celebrities with little or no clothing. Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Katharine McPhee and Stella Maxwell are other celebrities whose stolen photos have appeared on that website.

The disclosure of the photos is a new headache for Woods, who was involved in another scandal last May when he was arrested by police for driving under the influence of toxic substances.

According to the toxicology report released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, various drugs including xanax and vicodin were found in the golfer's body.

“I understand the seriousness of what I did and take full responsibility for my actions. I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescription drugs. I didn't realize that the drug mix had affected me so strongly,”said the 41-year-old golfer after his arrest.

Wood also clarified that he had taken the pills without a prescription because of back pain and insomnia.

I would like to apologize with all my heart to my family, friends and fans. I expect more from myself too. I will do everything in my power to ensure that this never happens again. I have fully cooperated with law enforcement, and I would like to personally thank representatives of the Police Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office for their professionalism,”he added.

The athlete pleaded not guilty a few weeks ago to a charge of driving under the influence of toxic substances, but he agreed to attend a program for drivers affected by this problem.
