The special prizes to be awarded during her sixth installment of the Tu Mundo Awards will go to Olga Tañón, Miguel Bosé and María Celeste Arrarás, according to the Telemundo network.
Singer Olga Tañón will receive the Jenni Rivera Legacy Award in recognition of her artistic work, but also for the philanthropic work she has done for many years at an international level, where her human quality and financial generosity have been verified by supporting various campaigns of charity. As a singer, with 25 years of experience, she has millions of albums sold and has managed to place 38 singles on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs list.
For his part, Miguel Bosé will be honored with the award El Poder en Ti, which honors artists who use their fame to do good works through art and generosity. In his case, the singer adds a long list of humanitarian projects in which he has worked not only within his native Spain, but also in various countries of the world.
With 30 years of professional work, María Celeste Arrarás has become a benchmark for Latino journalism in the United States. Her work has earned her international recognition of Emmy stature. In addition to her performance as a host, she has written several articles for newspapers such as The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post and The Miami Herald, among others. On this occasion, she will be honored with the Star of Your World award, a special award that recognizes the most outstanding milestones during the race.
The Tu Mundo Awards will be held on August 24 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida; the conduction will be in charge of Carmen Villalobos, Daniel Sarcos and Fernanda Castillo.
