Gil Continues Legal Process

The judicial conflicts due to the maintenance and care of Matías Gregorio, son of Marjorie de Sousa and Julián Gil, continue. The actor explained how this legal process is going after having been in the Mexican courts last week.

"The judge, last Friday, made a connection, I don't understand much of the legal problems, of her [Marjorie de Sousa's] lawsuit," Gil explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando. "[The] judge, thank God, on Friday, annexed his lawsuit and gave 'no place' to a lot of evidence that existed. That was, in a way, a victory”.

The protagonist of the film Santiago apóstol warned that his demand was always the first; therefore, De Sousa received the corresponding notification before filing his claim.

"Now we have to wait for the judge to rule; once the judge rules and says "[the] child must be given so much [money]," "he added.

The actor reported that the initial conditions to see his son, where he was requested to meet Matías at a specific time and day in front of a social worker, did not benefit him due to his work commitments; Given this, the magistrate reviewed the mitigating factors and made adjustments for the visits.

“He legally excused me; He informed the parties legally, that he was not going to be able to, and times were reassigned, later, where I can see him,”he mentioned.

While the legal battle continues, Gil continues his participation with Univisión Deportes as a Gold Cup commentator.
