Immigrant Suspected Of Murdering 17-year-old

Darwin Martínez Torres, a 22-year-old undocumented Salvadoran, is the main suspect in the murder of the young Muslim Nabra Hassanen in Virginia.

According to the police of that state, the 17-year-old was walking with a group of young people during a break from the prayer period in the mosque she was attending located in the Sterling area when she ran into Martínez Torres. After a confrontation with the young man, those accompanying Hassanen ran - the group was about 15 people - and the girl disappeared from there, The Associated Press agency reported.

In the process of searching for the young woman, the authorities arrested Martínez Torres, whom they considered a suspicious driver. After questioning him, the individual took them to a pond near his residence where the girl's remains were found, highlights the AP cable.
