Boy Is Tortured With A Tattoo

The anguish of a mother from São Bernardo do Campo - an industrial city in the State of São Paulo, Brazil - at the disappearance of her 17-year-old son, grew older when she had the first news. After several days of absence, the woman received a recently filmed video on her mobile, where the young man is shown while he is tattooed with a phrase on his forehead, according to the Spanish newspaper El País.

In the footage, you can see the boy sitting in a white plastic chair, while you can see the arms of a man, with one he stops his head and with the other he holds the tattoo needle, while he says: "it is going to hurt"

At the end, the upper part of the child's face reads "I am a thief and an idiot."

The perpetrators of this torture are Maycin Weskey Carvalho dos Reis, 27, who carried out the tattoo, and Ronaldo Moreira de Araújo, a 29-year-old neighbor. In addition, they were in charge of sending the short film to their contacts on WhatsApp.

According to these men, the action was in reprimand of the minor, who had tried to steal a bicycle. The argument was rejected by the judge in charge of the case and considered that the act constituted torture, before which he ordered preventive detention for both men.

It was also discovered that Moreira de Araújo was sentenced to five years and four months in prison in 2008, after having stolen a woman's purse.

According to the victim's family, the young man suffers from attention deficit, so he dropped out of school. In addition, he is addicted to drugs and alcohol; lives with his mother, grandfather and three brothers.
