Actress Jennifer Lawrence has just passed the scare of her life when the private plane she was traveling in had to make an emergency landing due to a serious mechanical problem.
According to E! News, the 2013 Oscar winner for her role as Tiffany Maxwell in the Silver Linings Playbook, was traveling from Louisville, Kentucky, to New Jersey on a private plane, likely to visit her family, when at 31,000 feet the pilot reported that one of the engines was failing.
When I was descending to perform the unscheduled landing, the situation got worse as the other engine also failed.
Fortunately, things did not happen on a larger scale, and both the protagonist of Hunger Games and all her companions on that flight were unharmed.
A spokeswoman for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) confirmed that a Beechcraft 400 Beechjet plane with two passengers, plus the crew, was diverted to Buffalo Airport on Saturday afternoon without further ado, but did not confirm whether Lawrence was among them.
Just a few days ago, the award-winning actress fought a media battle after a video leaked in which she was obviously drunk trying to dance in a Vienna nightclub, where she crawls on the floor, takes off her blouse and tries to dance in one of the tubes of the strippers.
After the episode, Lawrence turned to his Facebook page to say that he would not apologize for that and that he had an "incredible" time.
For now, he has not shared any message confirming the alleged mishap on the plane.
