Donald Trump is already a recurring character in the series The Simpsons (FOX). The animated series predicted that Trump would be president in an episode in 2000 and today it is a reality. Now another chapter talks about his first 100 days in the White House.

The episode kicks off with a storm outside the presidential home, where the cartoon version of Trump is seen reflecting on his accomplishments since assuming the presidency in January - including "improving his golf game and having 700 new followers on Twitter." The The Simpsons Twitter account shows a video with a preview of the chapter, which will air this Sunday.

The Trump presidency has created chaos for the characters in the series. The matriarch Marge Simpson is taking painkillers and when they run out, she says: "These had to last me four years," referring to the time Trump will be in office if he is not reelected for a second term. Grandfather Simpson, meanwhile, is arrested by immigration agents to take him to his home country, although the old man does not remember where he came from.

In February, a controversy erupted on social media when a caricature of President Trump's funeral, much in the style of The Simpsons, was leaked online. It is not known if the image is an authentic video capture of the series or some creation of a particular user, but the truth is that it shows the American president inside a coffin.

What will Trump think of his character in The Simpsons? Will you like it more or less than its parody on Saturday Night Live?
