NBA legend Michael Jordan managed to get a few smiles in tribute to his late basketball partner Kobe Bryant by laughing at himself after saying that his tear-stained face would become another viral meme.

Jordan, one of the speakers at Bryant's tribute and his also deceased daughter Gianna, eased the tension of the moment when he referred to the famous graphic joke of his tear-stained face - the crying meme - that went viral when he burst into tears. during his speech to mark his inclusion in the basketball hall of fame in September 2009.

"I'm going to have to look at another meme crying," Jordan told those present at the ceremony in Los Angeles, jokingly. "I told my wife that I wasn't going to do this [cry] because I don't want to see this for the next three or four years."
