Video Of A Woman Insulting A Hispanic For Speaking Spanish Goes Viral

A new video of a racist incident has shocked the world through social media.

A white woman appears insulting the CEO of a Mexican restaurant in West Virginia for speaking Spanish.

"English is our first language, so you need to speak English," said the woman, identified in the video as Jill, to the manager of the establishment Sergio Budar. "Fuck off my country!"

As Jill continues to yell at Budar, saying "he has no problem with the way he looks," the man who is dining with her tries to keep him from screaming.

At the same time, one of the chefs working in the restaurant intervened in the situation.

"If you're going to be racist, you're going to go," said the chef.

To which Jill replied: "I am not a racist."

Once the woman is escorted out of the restaurant, it is heard that she replies: "I was raped by illegal immigrants and you tell me not to talk to you like that."

The event, first reported by the Latino Rebels portal, occurred over the weekend and since then the video has gone viral on Facebook, YouTube and has been shared on other platforms by various Internet users.

One of the two videos capturing the incident shows how customers at Tampico Mexican Restaurant in Parkersburg, West Virginia were shocked at the woman's comments.

"It makes me feel angry, sad. "It is incredible that we are still seeing this type of behavior to this day," Budar, originally from Mexico, told NBC News. “I have been living here for almost two decades, and counting. I got my US citizenship here, but that doesn't mean that people can't speak languages other than English.”
