The silence is broken by the father of a six-month-old baby who died after falling and being trampled by a 10-year-old girl in his nursery. Nate Leidl spoke heartbrokenly about the death of her son Jaxon, who died in a Minnesota hospital after suffering skull fractures. The girl accused of the crime appeared handcuffed in court and cried in her mother's arms.

Leidl told the local KTRK channel that he went to court that day. "Instead of seeing a 10-year-old girl, I saw the person who killed my son," said the father. “She, in my opinion, deserved to have shackles and handcuffs. She is a criminal."

On October 30, Jaxon was rushed from his daycare in Chippewa Falls to a hospital in Minnesota. When he arrived at the hospital, the father realized how serious the baby's situation was. I broke into pieces. It hit me very hard,”he admits.

The woman in charge of the nursery was caring for six children, including the 10-year-old girl and the baby. Jaxon was sleeping and the woman went out to the patio with the rest of the children, except for the 10-year-old girl who was inside the house with the baby. The woman was the girl's foster mother, who did not live with her biological parents, it has not been revealed why.

The prosecution argues that the baby's violent attack began after the girl panicked as she dropped it. When the boy hit his head and started crying, she was afraid of being scolded and began to trample on his head.

The father was separated from the baby's mother. "I waited 37 years to have my baby," Leidl told KTRK. “He was very lucky because he did not cry, he did not complain. He was a happy and smiling boy all the time."
