A North Carolina family is terribly shocked after Lee Broadway died of a brain aneurysm.

On April 1, Broadway and her husband Eric Broadway sat outside their home enjoying a cup of coffee as they made plans to celebrate Lee's 42nd birthday. Hours later, the woman sent a message to her husband because she was experiencing a terrible migraine.

Apparently the mother of 4 children suffered from migraines since she was 8 years old, however this episode was different and three days later Lee died. "I ran home and took her to the emergency room," Eric, 43, told People magazine. "I knew this couldn't be good because I had seen him go through this type of pain before."

The couple met at school and received their first daughter Adair, who is now 22 years old when she was 18 years old, later they received their daughters Averi, 16, Alex 10 and Adrien 8. “She was a awesome mother,”said Eric. “We started young, so there were some difficult times. We were happy.”

When she was admitted to the hospital, the doctors said that luckily she had a grade 2 aneurysm and that she would be fine. "The doctor said everything seemed fine," recalls Eric. "We knew he was going to have some pain, but he would be with us."

Unfortunately, in less than two hours, the doctor returned with the bad news that complications had arisen. Ten hours later, the doctor met the family in a room and told them that nothing could be done for her. "We are still in shock," says Eric, who said Easter was very sad for them because it was his wife's favorite holiday.

Symptoms of migraines and brain aneurysms, which occur when a blood vessel in the brain weakens, may be similar, but the conditions are unrelated. The headache associated with a brain aneurysm is often described as extreme headache.
