The sports brand Nike continues to respond to the needs of its followers. Last week the firm announced the launch of a plus-size clothing line and is now surprising with the news of a novel athletic collection dedicated to Muslim women.
The garments were inspired by Saudi runner Sarah Attar, who competed in the London 2012 Olympics wearing a hijab that covered her hair.
According to the company, the designs were created with special fabrics that, in addition to being lightweight, also allow the covered body parts to breathe during physical activity.
The brand's new line, which will be launched on the market in 2018, will have three color options: black, gray and blue.
I can't believe I'm finally here! I am so excited to announce Nike Pro hijab! Proud to be part of this incredible project,”the renowned Egyptian ice skater Zahra Lari wrote on her social networks, who could not bite her excitement at the news.
