Being an empowered female is in fashion! Every day women have more and more information at our disposal to develop ourselves in all our facets and achieve family and professional success in our lives.
So we are delighted to hear that the Univision channel will launch a new twenty-minute digital special called “7 Women, 7 Questions” on March 5 to inspire women to fight for their dreams.
In this show we will be able to see successful women such as Karla Martínez, Chiquinquirá Delgado, Jackie Guerrido, Pamela Silva Conde, Patricia Janiot, Lindsay Casinelli and Alejandra Espinoza, talking together in a family and intimate debate, addressing the topics that most interest.
These great women will openly and openly share their views on concepts such as machismo, immigration and many other hot topics that are very present in the lives of Latina women today.
"You must have very thick skin to withstand the pressures of beauty in general," says Chiqui Delgado, one of the most admired people on Spanish television.
“We women are expected to be majestic and perfect at all times; be a good mother; be wonderful in the workplace, with impeccable hair and nails, give us a break!”says the famous driver, always demanding of herself, accustomed to having millions of eyes on her.
The sympathetic Venezuelan is not far behind when speaking of machismo: “If a man screams, he is powerful, while if a woman screams, she is hysterical; if a man demands something, he is well; If a woman demands something, it is that it is at that time of the month…”, she admits quite naturally.
The issue of machismo, unfortunately still very present in our days, is something that Karla Martínez is very clear about when educating her daughters: ““As mothers, we have the responsibility to raise girls who do not allow that, who feel that they are worthy, give them the authority to say 'no' and fight for their dreams. I always tell them that they can achieve what they want…”.
