Ivanka Trump's Brand Sells At Deep Discounts

Just days after the Nordstrom store chain indicated it would no longer sell Ivanka Trump's collection due to low sales, the Los Angeles Times now reports that, despite presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway urging the public on a hearing television to buy their products, they are not being sold at a regular price.

The article - which quotes the Edited company, which in turn monitors the sale of clothing brands globally - indicates that 44 percent of the products of President Donald Trump's daughter are being sold at a 49 percent discount., average.

The firm, which tracks more than 90,000 brands and retailers worldwide, reported through its senior fashion and retail analyst Katie Smith that Ivanka's brand has "low market penetration." According to Edited, 15 American merchants continue to sell the Ivanka brand, with Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor leading the pack. While abroad, stores such as Elitify, in India, and El Corte Inglés, in Spain, no longer do so.
