During the last year and a half, the American Cassie De Pecol has visited all the countries of the world and has done so in record time.
De Pecol visited all 196 nations in the world, where he met a lot of people and shared his message of peace, although he also had some bad times.
It took him 18 months and 26 days to go around the world, half the time it took the previous Guinness World Record winner.
"I just like to show that we can be friends and that we can coexist," he told CNN.
De Pecol, who specialized in environmental studies at the university, explained that he felt that he could not travel the world without having a broader purpose. That is why she started her world tour in July 2015 with the idea of promoting sustainable tourism as an ambassador for the International Institute of Peace through Tourism.
The nonprofit organization was founded in 1986 to promote cultural understanding.
De Pecol shared with his 290,000 followers on his Instagram account messages from the countries and people he met.
