If you're single and on order, you'd better move if you live in states like Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, West Virginia or Alaska.

According to the personal finance portal Wallet Hub, those are the five worst states for those who are looking for a partner to marry.

The odds of finding a better half go beyond physical appearance, personality, or financial situation. The place where you live can also influence the possibility of getting at least one appointment, say those responsible for the study

"For example," they warn, "in states with a low cost of living, your income could expand much more, which means cheaper or more frequent appointments, depending on what you value more - or your energy level."
