Car Bomb In Istanbul Leaves 20 Seriously Injured

The alert state takes over Istanbul after hearing two explosions and several shots fired in the city this afternoon. The explosions have taken place at the exit of the Besiktas football stadium that has left at least 13 people dead after the explosion of a car bomb, according to the BBC in London.

Today was a significant match between the Beşiktaş and Bursaspor teams. Two hours after the sporting event, these explosions took place, among whose main victims and wounded are several policemen who guarded the surroundings.

This is how some of the reporters from the Besiktas TV network lived through the moment of the explosion.

At the moment the reasons for the attack are unknown. But according to Turkish television everything indicates that the objective was a riot bus that was leaving the stadium when verifying that the fans of the respective soccer teams had already left the place.

Although it is early to point guilty, it is presumed that this terrorist attack was carried out by Kurdish militants or some of the far-left armed groups in Turkey.

According to some eyewitnesses, the area is still covered by large columns of smoke and the police have cordoned off the surroundings of the place. Several television networks show the agents surrounding the stadium, quite nervous and asking for help from the vehicles that pass through the place to be able to evacuate the wounded.
