Colombian authorities have released new data on the case of the girl Yuliana Samboní, whose murder has deeply shaken Colombia.

After the arrest of the alleged murderer of the 7-year-old girl, Rafael Uribe Noguera, the body of the girl, the apartment where she died and the circumstances surrounding her death have been analyzed.

Those responsible for the case have concluded that the crime was covered up by relatives of the accused and that he was fully aware of his actions during the hours in which he tortured and killed the minor at his home, according to the Colombian press.

Noticias Caracol reported that Uribe Noguera, 38, an architect by profession, was formally detained this Wednesday after the judge in charge of analyzing the evidence reviewed photos that showed the mistreatment to which the girl was subjected.

The images of the corpse of the little Yuliana showed her face covered in bites and multiple blows to the body, according to the same medium.

In addition, experts managed to determine that the subject dedicated himself to consuming alcohol and cocaine from 3:00 pm, after having captured and brought the minor to his apartment, which he kidnapped at 10:00 am last Sunday. in the middle of the street of his humble neighborhood and before the astonished gaze of two of his friends.

According to investigations, someone helped Uribe clean a jacuzzi that had traces of blood and take the girl's body to the machine room of the same, where an attempt was made to hide the body.

The investigations point to Uribe's brothers, who responded to his call for help and tried to hide the girl's clothes and clean the scene without alerting the authorities.

The accused faces charges of aggravated femicide, simple kidnapping and violent carnal access, accusations that - according to sources cited by the Colombian press - have denied.

On the other hand, those in charge of the case concluded that Uribe Noguera had attempted to kidnap the minor on at least two other occasions, which supposedly would indicate that he acted with full awareness.
