Although a little over six months have passed since José José's death, his ex-wife Anel Noreña remains suspicious of the circumstances of his death and wants an investigation.

The mother of José Joel and Marysol Sosa, the interpreter's older children, declared to a show program in Mexico that he will exhume the singer's ashes to submit them to the necessary tests.

Anel said he knows some people in New York who have very advanced technology that can determine what the singer died of.

It is not a series of mystery or that I have seen on TV, no. Yes, there is a possibility, technologically speaking, that this will happen, and it will happen with the favor of God,”said the former beauty queen.

Anel intends to exhume the ashes of the French Pantheon in Mexico City, where they are located, to subject them to that technological process and finally answer the doubts that - in his opinion - surround the artist's departure.

"My children will be able to know what, at what time and how their father died," he assured. “There is something very important, very interesting that can be known through the ashes. All the people who loved José will know what happened to him.”

The singer died last September after a long battle with cancer while he was under the care of his wife Sara Salazar and daughter Sara Sosa, with whom Noreña and her children do not have good relations.
