Opera singer Plácido Domingo joins the long list of artists who have tested positive for coronavirus. The 79-year-old Spanish tenor shared the news on his social networks.
I feel it is my moral obligation to announce that I have tested positive for COVID19, also known as the Corona Virus. My family and I are and will continue to be individually isolated for as long as medically necessary,”he wrote on Facebook.
From his position, the singer has advised that please follow all directions with absolute fidelity and zeal.
"Follow the guidelines and regulations of your local government to stay safe and protect not only themselves but our entire community," he concluded, grateful for the messages of support.
Isolated, Plácido follows to the letter what the doctors dictate to him to overcome this disease and to be able to be with his family again and celebrate that all this happens sooner rather than later.
