Guillermo del Bosque has suffered for some time from some health problems that forced him to undergo a series of analyzes and studies. Now, the television producer announced that the results indicate that he suffers from cancer.
"In recent months I underwent several medical studies due to discomfort I had been suffering from," Del Bosque explained in a press release. "Today I can confirm the news that it is cancer."
The producer of the Logout series warned that he has a lot of "faith in God", and he is already starting an important and strong treatment, which will last around six months, with which he intends to recover and overcome this disease. In addition, he has "the unconditional love of my family" and the support of his friends.
The husband of the host Vica Andrade, with whom he has three children Luca, Luna and Coral, confessed that for the welfare of his they wanted to keep the news a secret. However, he preferred to make this information public to avoid generating rumors or speculation about his health.
Despite being under medical care, the former CEO of the TeleHit channel will continue as much as possible immersed in his usual activities.
"I will continue to be active and working on the projects that I have to the extent that the course of the treatments allow me," he concluded.
For now, he will continue to lead the series Nosotros los guapos starring Adrián Uribe, Ariel Miramontes, Carmen Salinas and Wendy Braga, among others.
