Although Europe is currently the epicenter of the pandemic with more than 65,000 infected, the coronavirus has already spread to at least 140 countries. Many countries in the American continent are already taking severe measures to stop the spread of the virus, which alone in the United States already accumulates 3,774 cases.

The recommendation of the authorities and experts is that the population stay in their homes and only go outside to carry out tasks that are strictly necessary, such as going to work -in the event that they could not do it from home- or going shopping first need products.

Many celebrities are already obeying these recommendations and have been quarantined in their homes for days as a preventive measure to stop the expansion of the coronavirus.

This is the case, for example, of Carmen Villalobos, the protagonist of the successful Telemundo soap opera Sin senos si hay paradise, who resides in Bogotá, Colombia.

“We stay at home, we take care of ourselves, we take care of our families and others. It's everyone's responsability. Obviously, if it is your turn to leave home, take preventive measures so that the virus does not continue to spread, shared the charismatic Colombian actress through Instagram along with an image in which she appears in the company of her partner and her two pets.

The protagonist of the second season of La doña (Telemundo), David Zepeda, also joined this initiative to stay at home as a preventive measure.

"Staying at home is synonymous with responsibility, but it is also a great opportunity to find the true meaning of life and value everything we take for granted," the renowned Mexican actor wrote on Instagram to his nearly 4 million followers.

Joy, lead singer of the Mexican duo Jessy & Joy, is another of the many celebrities who remains in voluntary quarantine at home along with his wife and daughter Noah.

"A few weeks ago we took this photo and I never imagined that just days later we would have to be at home indefinitely, but the health and life of those we love is worth more than everything," the famous singer published on her social networks.

And he added: “The entire world we have witnessed the tragic event of events in Italy and Spain by COVID-19 up to that moment. It is a matter of common sense to isolate ourselves and a matter of time for other countries. It is estimated that we have a window of only the next 72 hours to avoid an irreparable catastrophe. Please, please, please, for you, for yours, for ours, stay at home.”
