"Very difficult, very complicated. I am working hard to pay tribute to her, which she [Daniela] deserves; but it is something that I will always have in my heart, I know it,”Sánchez Azuara confessed to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). “There are ups and downs; there are days when I am in better spirits, there are days when I am not, so it is complicated but I am learning to live with pain, that is the truth”.

"Do not cry [the presenter promised Daniela]; that she try not to cry because soon we were going to meet and she was going to be better, that wherever she went she was going to be better”, she revealed. “Very aware that this could happen. It is not something we expected, if it came to us suddenly because we were at another point of taking a step [for its recovery] and suddenly everything collapsed. We talked about it and the smallest possibility that we had, according to us, that it would happen [her death], it happened”.

Rocío Sánchez Azuara made it clear that Carlos Lara, the biological father of her daughter, did not have an approach even during the death of the little girl.
