Since Edith González's death, the situation of her only daughter, Constanza, had remained completely secretive. A few days after the actress' departure nine months, her brother Víctor González talks for the first time about how the young girl is and what the process has been to overcome her mother's departure.
“Right now, the priority [for Constanza] is the lack of his mom [Edith González]; it is the priority because she had extensive communication,”González revealed to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). "After his mother's death, adjusting to a new life cost him his job, but Santiago [ Creel, the girl's father] has been very good, with a lot of patience."
Overcoming the absence of the protagonist of the soap opera Eva, the trailer has been very difficult for her daughter, so she received therapies of various kinds so that she could face and overcome the situation in the best way. In addition, she has her uncle, who is the "moral companion" of her niece.
"Constanza did resort [to a thanatologist] because it was a very hard blow," she explained. "They are in full development, forming character, personality and such a devastating blow as my sister's departure is, because it did require that a little time was in professional help."
Víctor González assures that the mother of the histrion, Ofelia Fuentes, is already managing to recover from the loss with as positive an attitude as possible.
"In general, it is fine, and very recovered from the crash [the death of Edith González]," he said. "And very happy. She's still joking, like she was. Everyone asks me about her and we still have Ofelia [Fuentes] for a while.”
