The sympathetic cast of Modern Family celebrated the end of the series a few days ago in the Sunset Room in Hollywood, after eleven years of success on the small screen. This was told by Sofía Vergara, who shared a video on her networks under which she wrote: “The party is over! Goodbye study 5! 11 years of Modern Family!”
Now, the talented forty-seven-year-old Colombian has confirmed that she will be part of America's Got Talent to become judge of the successful show along with the panel made up of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and the beautiful Heidi Klum.
“I am very happy to be part of this new family at AGT! It is an exciting new chapter for me and I am incredibly proud to be the first Latina to judge this show. I can't wait to enjoy all the talent and have a good time with all of you!”, Commented the charming actress before this new adventure.
A few days before, during the last day of the filming of Modern Family and to celebrate the end of the last scenes with her colleagues, you could see the successful Latina excited to tears to the rhythm of the song "Time of Your Life" by Green Day's.
While Sofia Vergara was visibly excited, Hyland, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson surrounded him with affection.
Modern Family made Sofía Vergara the highest-paid actress on television in the United States. After opening in 2009, the series went on to win 5 Emmys for Best Comedy. The final episode will air on April 8.
