A few weeks ago, images of the RBD members were released together at a meeting. Some time later, Televisa announced, in a video, that the group would be on the small screen again; Given this, rumors began of a reunion between the famous musical group. However, Christopher Uckermann, one of his former members, denies that they meet at a professional level soon.
"It is something that has been said so much that we rather wanted to talk about our lives [when they met]," Uckermann revealed to the Mexican newspaper El Universal. "Right now there is not going to be anything, it was just a dinner with no intention behind it."
What the singer did reveal were details of the dinner they had after being away for many years. He assured that they had a great time and talked about the experiences they have had on a personal level after the separation from the group.
"It was a super nice night and from another perspective, after so many years of recording all over the world together," he explained. "We caught up on each other's lives, some couples went and talked about the children."
Christopher Uckermann assured that the agendas and interests of each of the former members, Anahí, Alfonso Herrera, Dulce María, Christian Chávez and Maite Perroni, of RBD do not motivate them to return to work together at this time; although it does not rule out the possibility that it will happen later. Regarding the documentary that Pedro Torres allegedly prepares about the musical band, the also actor mentioned that he has no knowledge.
"In the future, you never know for the moment, nobody wants [a reunion], because many are with their projects," he warned. "The subject has been discussed a lot, but I do think that Pedro [Torres] is the one who is most informed and for the time being I think they were in talks but I don't know anything about it."
