Good news! The last film that our beloved Edith González shot will finally hit the big screen so that we can all enjoy it. This was announced by the producer of this project, Óscar Ganem through his social networks and with great emotion.
It's called An Honest Feeling in the Dungeon of Oblivion and it starred the first actress who left us last year. The story is the first film by Mexican filmmaker Luis Bárcenas. Despite being her first project, Edith wanted to be in the credits and support her with all the enthusiasm.
It was filmed in 2017 when the actress already had cancer. The Unam International Film Festival, held between March 5 and 15 in Mexico, is finally releasing the long-awaited film.
The film is an epic story in which Edith plays a successful painter named Isabelle Batún, very elegant and loving. One of her works hides a great mystery and they ask her to destroy it. The rest will have to be seen in the rooms.
In addition to this first lady of the stage, the film also has the presence of great actors such as Angélica Aragón, Luis Felipe Tovar and Blanca Guerra, among others. The appointment to see Edith again in her acting role is next March at this prestigious Mexican independent film festival.
