The auction house Goldin Auction has put up for sale a statistics card autographed by Kobe Bryant in order to help the foundation of the deceased athlete.
The card is given to employees, reporters and players after the game and measures 8 x 10 inches, which was signed by the then Los Angeles Lakers player after the legendary game in which he scored 81 points.
According to People, the card was released for sale just over a week after the plane crash in which Bryant, 41, and his daughter Gigi, 13, along with seven other passengers, lost their lives.
According to the listing, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the MamaOnThree entity created by the athlete's foundation, the Mamba Sports Foundation, to help the families of victims affected by the tragedy.
The minimum bid is $ 1,000 and will be up for auction for the next 18 days. Whoever makes the best offer will take it.
The card in question responds to the unforgettable game of January 22, 2006 against the Toronto Raptors in which Bryant broke his own record by scoring 81 points in less than 42 minutes at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The former player and his daughter lost their lives with Payton Chester, 13; Sarah Chester, 45; Alyssa Altobelli, 14; Keri Altobelli, 46; John Altobelli, 56; Christina Mauser, 38; and the helicopter pilot, Ara Zobayan, 50.
