Super Bowl: Gloria Estefan's Daughter Fights Alex Rodriguez

The daughter of Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Emily Estefan, starred in a fun anecdote on the networks claiming her beloved mom's well-deserved first place as the first Latina to perform in a Super Bowl.

Jennifer Lopez's husband Alex Rodríguez, happily proud of his wife, stated that his wife was the first Latina to participate in the Super Bowl halftime show, something that was quickly corrected by Emily Estefan.

"Hey, Jennifer Lopez is a queen, but she was not the first Latina to perform in the Super Bowl, be well informed!" Emily wrote in a message to A-Rod.

In another post, Taco Cabrera made it even clearer with a black and white photo of the Cuban diva, Gloria Estefan. This morning A-rod said that JLo would be the first Hispanic to perform on the halftime show at the Super Bowl. Arod, facts matter. My sister-in-law made the Super Bowl in 1992 and 1999. She is Hispanic. The Miami Herald published a note months ago recounting how Gloria Estefan declined an offer to be part of the show again this year. Gloria basically said it was time for someone else to do it. I am delighted that JLo is doing the show and he is sure to break it. My sister-in-law is the best, zero egocentric. What did she not do?”

Emily Estefan commented under the previous post: “I love you for this. REPOST. Wtfff lol Two Super Bowls”. Lili Estefan also put a few hands up and a heart, obviously approving the message and making it clear that she is also very proud of her family.

Shakira and Jennifer Lopez commented in their recent press conference part of the plans they are preparing for the show on Sunday, officially called as Pepsi Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show. They also assured that there will be a memory for the sadly deceased Kobe Bryant.
