Gloria Estefan revealed why she rejected JAY-Z's offer to appear during the Super Bowl LIV halftime show in 2020.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Cuban singer and her husband Emilio Estefan explained the situation.
JAY-Z called me and said, 'You know what? I'm going to Miami, 'and Gloria said,' I'm not going to do the Super Bowl. I don't want to! '”Emilio explained.

Although Estefan will not appear in Super Bowl LIV, she describes the announced artists, Shakira and Jennifer López, as the "perfect people" to put on the show. "I'm really excited for Shakira and JLo, who are going to burn the stage because those women are hot."
Gloria Estefan has been one of the Latinas to star in the famous Half Time Show during the Super Bowl twice, once in 1992 and once in 1999.
Both Emilio and Gloria have ties to Shakira and López. Emilio was the first producer to sign Shakira, while Gloria has written and co-written songs with both women.
