Johnny Lozada Reveals Secrets Of Menudo Group

His smile cheered us up for a long time in the Despierta América program, doing interviews, jokes and catching up on everything. Now, a colleague and friend of the medium, Lourdes Stephen has been in charge of chatting with him about his life, his experiences and a lot of other things on his YouTube channel.

We are talking about him, Johnny Lozada, the showman who won first place in Look Who Dances! thanks to its salt shaker and good rhythm. Although everything is said, he got more than a scare with so much movement. "The pain I had and the pain I did that dance with is not normal," he says, referring to one of his performances. "I twice passed out at the dance, I almost fainted," he still remembered with a "My God!"

Good and not so good situations of his career where it is also worth mentioning his time at Menudo, that group that revolutionized the world of music and quinceañeras. There are so many things that have been said, good and not so much, that Lourdes wanted to know if he had to see or experience something murky about what was said, such as abuse or addictions.

Kind and direct, as always, he had no qualms about talking about what he witnessed. "There were things around us, that cannot be denied nor can you cover the sky with your hand," he explains with a serious face. But he also made it clear that he did not experience it first hand. "I cannot tell you that they approached me, it would be very vicious of me because it is not true," the 52-year-old artist continued, very well-worn years.

"That I saw strange things? I did see strange things, "he says. "It was another time, we are talking about another stage where not everything was allowed, there were many taboos, you could not talk about certain things because there were problems."

He recognizes that when you have those years, 10, 11 or 12, you don't stop to analyze certain things, you see but you don't understand. "You are not so aware of things, especially if they do not affect you." Despite everything, Johnny emphasized that, at least in his stage, there were wonderful things and that he felt very cared for. From what came later he knows what the public, little else.

"I never felt attacked, maybe other people do, watch out, I can't talk about other people, I talk about my experiences," he says of those times. Today everything is different, more is said about everything, louder and clearer, without fear of what they will say, something that Johnny applauds and supports, without a doubt.
