Barack Obama did it again! The former president of the United States shared the list of his favorite books during the year on his Instagram account.
"This is becoming a fun little tradition, I hope you think the same." Said the Democrat. "Because even though we are all involved in so much that keeps us busy, be it work, family, social life or volunteering, art and literature improve our life experiences."
This is a sample of Obama's favorite titles during 2019: The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of the East India Company, by William Dalrymple. Haruki Murakami's Men Without Women. Girl, woman, Other, by Bernardine Evaristo. Lost Children Archive, by Valeria Luiselli. Lot: Stories, by Bryan Washington. Solitary by Albert Woodfox. The Sixth Man, by Andre Iguodala. American Spy by Lauren Wilkinson. Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. How to Read the Air, by Dinaw Mengestu. Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel.
“These are the books that made my year shine a little more. Most were published in 2019, although some are older but I read them now. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do,”said Michelle Obama's husband.
Among his latest published photos, there are two that swept his followers and both have around three million likes each. The most recent is an image from the past that drove fans crazy. It is a snapshot of him and his wife when they were both very young.
“When I got to Chicago, I was a young man in his twenties trying to find out who he was. It was there that I found my community and my mission in life”.
Although at the moment this romantic image of the sunset published by the popular ex-president on the occasion of his anniversary with Michelle is the one that has been recently most liked:
This is how Obama congratulated the love of his life at the bottom of the photo: “As The Beatles sang: It's getting better all the time. Thanks, babe, for these incredible 27 years together!”
