What Happened To Jenni Rivera's Controversial Interview

A few days ago, Pepe Garza, radio announcer and friend of Jenni Rivera, released an interview he conducted with the singer in which he recognized that he had been a death threat. What was the reason the interview came to light?

“It was part of the love that Jenni [Rivera] and I had. That despite having something in my hands that I could have scandalized at the time, Jenni alive, whatever, never. I had it abandoned on a CD,”Garza explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). "When she dies and all this, I say 'well, one day I will reveal it.' I said 'I want the time to pass and when it comes out, really, attract attention; Don't be one of many things that are out there. I think it has made a major impact."

According to the radio programmer, the interview was conducted long before the Diva de la Banda's death.

"The interview was a year and a half before she passed away. It was not immediately before the accident, "she said. “That weekend she feared for her life, they were threatening her and when that weekend passed, and nothing happened, I forgot about the interview; we never touched the subject again”.

Pepe Garza assures that Jenni Rivera's family is satisfied that this material has been transmitted because it shows the essence of the deceased singer.

"The family is happy because there is a side of Jenni that is revealed there and that in the television series they had not necessarily captured it," he said. “The real Jenni was that one, the one who was talking to me. And her youngest son, Johnny, because he suffers a lot when they talk bad things about their mom.”
