Guillermo Del Bosque Talks For The First Time About His Cancer Treatment

Since 2016, Alberto del Bosque has waged a bloody battle against cancer, because he was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. Relapses and new outbreaks have been a constant in the disease. Now, the producer is honest and talks for the first time about the medical procedure he is undergoing to combat the condition.

“The morning after the first chemo [therapy]. It lasted nine hours, I think, [it was] heavy, the effects, I think, that I already knew and knew are happening,”said Del Bosque in a video that she released on her Instagram account. "After a while, the second chemo comes, in the afternoon and, well, to continue advancing in this fight."

In addition, he accompanied this video with a text that motivated him to continue this contest for his life.

"This is from last Monday, it is already a very heavy week of mixed feelings, very strong moments in which I take refuge that 'I can do everything in Christ who strengthens me', Philippians 4:13," he mentioned. "Faith, love, strength !!!"

Days before undergoing the corresponding treatment, the producer revealed that he does all this to see his children, Luca, Coral and Luna grow; who visited him in the hospital.

"My Loves who visited me yesterday before isolating myself," he mentioned on the same social network. "Twenty-five more days to fight hard for them and heal completely for God's sake."

Guillermo del Bosque, in addition to chemotherapies, will also have to undergo a spinal cord transplant in order to avoid further health complications.
