Ana Bárbara apologized for the small mistake she made when interpreting the Mexican national anthem last Monday in the preview of an NFL game in Mexico City between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.

The singer was more than proud to pay tribute to her beloved Mexico by performing her anthem, but as the stars who have assumed that responsibility know, singing a hymn carries many dangers because not the slightest mistake goes unnoticed.

It turns out that the interpreter changed a vowel by saying "olive temples" instead of "olive temples", something the audience did not forgive and dropped a shower of criticism. Given this, the Mexican resorted to her social networks to offer a sincere apology and explain what happened.

"This video is basically with the direct intention of apologizing," he explained in the recording shared on his Instagram account. "I was the lucky guest of the NFL to sing the Mexican National Anthem and although I did it with all my heart and soul and not with my head, because there was a moment when the emotion won me over and I made the mistake of changing one to 'by one' or '”.

Despite the criticism, the singer assured that she lived through a magical moment and that she is proud to have performed a song that represents her with "love and passion".

This is the second time that Ana Bárbara sings the hymn in a sports setting. Last year, she did it in the soccer match between the América and Cruz Azul teams. At that time, the singer had a pronunciation error with two words and the audience did not forgive either.

However, Ana Bárbara has not been the only artist to fail during the interpretation of the Mexican anthem. Great performers like Vicente Fernández, Cristian Castro, Pablo Montero, Julión Alvarez and Jenni Rivera have also made mistakes when singing it.
