Yesterday, November 14, it must have been a very happy day for Venezuelan actor and singer Daniel Elbittar. His son Maximiliano, the fruit of his marriage to Sabrina Seara, was three years old and he and his wife had prepared a fun party to celebrate as it deserves.

What the heartthrob from The Dragon (Univision) could not imagine is that the birth anniversary of his firstborn would be clouded by a sad and painful news: the death of his father, who died this Thursday in his native Venezuela after a hard fight against the cancer he suffered from.

"Today my father left us, today the day of my son's birthday," Elbittar wrote on Instagram along with a series of images in which he appears with his father.

You fought with all daddy and we your children, although we have sad hearts and souls, we will do everything we have left in life to honor you. It was at the beginning of October when Elbittar publicly announced through his social networks the painful news that his father had been diagnosed with a cancer in the lung station four with metastasis to the brain and adrenal.

Given the critical economic situation that Venezuela is going through, the artist requested the collaboration of his followers to be able to face the expensive treatment that the disease required.

"It is a very delicate moment and also the situation in my country does not help us because almost all the treatments you need are not there because of the scarcity there is, because of everything that is happening in the country, so that's why I uploaded the photo of my dad requesting a little help because insurance also does not want to get involved in these types of illnesses when they are in that type of degree, "explained Daniel weeks ago.
