Today was celebrated in the United Kingdom on Remembrance Day or Remembrance Day and the event, truly solemn, has brought together many members of the royal family.

Like yesterday at the Albert Hall concert, all eyes were on the reunion of the Sussex and Cambridge: on the one hand, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle; on the other, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton. But once again, we couldn't see the two couples together. At today's ceremony, women from the royal family watched the Armistice Day parade from the top of the Commonwealth building. On one of the balconies, Queen Elizabeth was present accompanied by Kate Middleton and Camila Parker, wife of Prince Charles; in the other, in accordance with the different role they play within the royal family, Meghan Markle was accompanied by the Countess of Wessex, Edward's wife.

Very handsome William and Harry in uniform walked with their father in the Whitehall Cenotaph. We could not appreciate any special gesture between the brothers, but it is logical given the event as serious and profound as today in which the thousands of soldiers who lost their lives in World War I are commemorated.

Prince Charles, in the name of the queen, was in charge of placing the wreath under the monument, poppies of course, as indicated by the beautiful tradition of Remembrance Day. Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton once again stood out for their elegance and beauty. As for her sober outfits, it was impossible not to admire the beautiful wide-brimmed hat that the ex-Californian actress wore.

At eleven o'clock in the morning, there was no sound during the two minutes of total silence that everyone carried to the letter with the sad memory of the loss of thousands of lives for their country.
