Make-up artist and Mary Kay ambassador Luis Casco is a regular at New York Fashion Week's top shows. Our fashion and beauty expert Kika Rocha met him at the last Monse show in the Big Apple, where he showed us step by step to get this modern look and that makes us think of the summer months already. How appetizing!
"The Monse line is sophisticated, but also very avant-garde," explains the expert on the collection, which this year was inspired by punk and youth. "It has a little bit of punk and a little bit of sophistication."
The Salvadoran created 4 different looks for the models that paraded on the catwalk, in which the shades in pop colors were the absolute protagonists.
As you can see in the images, the key to this look with such striking colors is not to paint the entire upper eyelid so that it does not look too heavy, but to apply the color in half more or less, leaving an unpainted space visible between the lash line and the shadow.
The look was completed with nude lips or nude colors, but yes, very hydrated. The secret to getting lips like this, especially in winter, is to apply an exfoliant the night before and then an intense moisturizing balm. Reapply the balsam in the morning and remove it before applying color to better fix the result.
