There are many things that happen after a photo session and many more that must be taken into account before carrying it out, especially if you have to travel to another country to do it. For our September edition, the most important in terms of fashion, we chose Alejandra Espinoza so that with her grace and style she would show the hottest trends in autumn, taking as a framework the magical streets of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, one of the most beautiful cities in Latin America.

Our idea for this important edition, which has pages full of fashion and beauty stories, and an exclusive interview with Dayanara Torres, was to highlight the beauty of our countries, their incredible culture and the talent of Latino designers, including Johanna Ortiz and Gustavo Cadile. Something we were able to achieve thanks to the talented Mexican presenter, who in addition to having one of the most promising careers on television in Spanish, is a worthy ambassador for her country and for Latinos in the United States.

We went to San Miguel de Allende last June where we stayed for four days, two of which were entirely dedicated to achieving the spectacular photos of Espinoza, whose styling was in charge of Victoria Sánchez-Lincoln, and makeup and hairstyle given by Marco Peña. The presenter, who arrived with her mother and son Matteo, posed for the slow-motion photographer Danny Cardozo.

While there we also take the opportunity to taste the delicious food of the place and visit some of the most emblematic places including the imposing pink parish of San Miguel Arcángel and the artisan market. Those days we had the privilege of sharing with Espinoza in a more casual and welcoming environment that allowed us to get to know her much better. But she was not the only one who captured the team's attention. The charisma and that of her little son, who was present throughout the process, stole everyone's heart.

In addition, we went to discover the coolest and most modern shops in the charming town and we were impressed with everything we found. On this trip we were able to see the undeniable beauty and the great cultural legacy of San Miguel de Allende, which is why in 2008 it was declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

The truth is that it was an extraordinary experience that we hope to repeat again in some other beautiful city in Latin America
