And it is that the natural resources they have make them the ideal paradise to find the resources that serve us to improve our health and that can also provide us with multiple beauty benefits. One of those paradisiacal places full of magical places and more than anything, of natural resources, is Costa Rica.

Even this Central American country went the beauty expert Kika Rocha to look for some of the best beauty secrets of Costa Ricans and show them in this new edition of the Specials with Kika.

In this second part of Rocha's experience in that country, his first stop was Río Perdido where he took a dip in its mineral-filled hot springs, and where he also took advantage of a volcanic mud treatment.

“One of the wonderful activities that are done here on the banks of the Río Perdido is applying this mud. It is a volcanic mud loaded with minerals [that] has many benefits for the skin,”says Rocha. "The idea is to apply it all over the body [and] let it dry for about ten minutes. Then we rinse it with very cold water.”
